Uncle Bob's Words

Words, poetry, stuff like that

There’s Always an Ant in the Ale

Don’t wish time to go faster.

Soon you’ll be on the other end

Wishing you’d savored that moment

When you had time.

Philosophers mutter: linearity

Provides stability. But it’s the

Stability of looking back,

See? It’s all in the past.

It’s insanity.  Look forward.

Be ready.  Now. Feel it?

It’s your future, here it is.

Handle it. You’ve got time.

Oh, wait.  Relativity.

(There’s always an ant in the ale…)

That’s your brain there running the motor.

You’re on your own.
